QUALIDADE SANITÁRIA E FISIOLÓGICA DE SEMENTES DE MAMONEIRA TRATADAS COM ÓLEO ESSENCIAL DE EUCALIPTO
A busca por alternativas para o
manejo de doenças em plantas, como o uso
de produtos naturais, tem contribuído para
uma agricultura sustentável. O objetivo da
pesquisa foi avaliar a ação do óleo essencial
de eucalipto na qualidade sanitária e fisiológica
de sementes de mamoneira. Foram utilizadas
as cultivares Energia, Gabriela, Nordestina
e Paraguaçu, onde as sementes foram
submetidas aos tratamentos: T1-Testemunha
(água destilada); T2 – 2,5; T3 – 5,0; T4 – 7,5
µL mL-1 do óleo essencial de eucalipto e T5 -
Fungicida Dicarboximida. Para a avaliação da
qualidade sanitária as colônias fúngicas foram
submetidas a observação visual com auxílio
de um microscópio estereoscópio. Quanto à
qualidade fisiológica foi utilizada 200 sementes,
distribuídas em papel germitest, avaliados o
percentual de sementes germinadas e o índice
de velocidade de germinação. O óleo essencial
de eucalipto apresenta controle sanitário
satisfatório sobre a microflora patogênica dos
fungos detectados, com pouca interferência
sobre a germinação das sementes de
mamoneira.

Abstract:
The search for alternatives for
the management of plant diseases, such as
the use of natural products, has contributed
to sustainable agriculture.The objective of
the research was to evaluate the action of oil
eucalyptus essential on the quality sanitary and
physiological of castor bean seeds. Were used
the cultivars Energia, Gabriela, Nordestina and
Paraguaçu, where the seeds were submitted to
the treatments: T1-Witness (distilled water); T2
= 2.5; T3 = 5.0; T4 - 7.5 μL mL-1 of eucalyptus
essential oil and T5 – Dicarboximida Fungicide.
For evaluation of the quality sanitary of the
colonies fungal were submitted to observation
visual with the aid of a microscope stereoscope.
As the quality physiological, was used 200
seeds distributed in germitest paper, evaluated
the percentage of germinated seeds and the rate
of germination. The oil essential of eucalyptus
presents satisfactory control sanitary over the
pathogenic microflora of the fungi detected,
with little interference on the germination of the castor bean seeds.
