Abstract: Public administration faces ongoing challenges regarding efficiency, transparency, and the quality of services provided to the population. Public transportation, as one of the main services offered by the state, has been a key area for implementing improvements in public management. This study aims to analyze the implementation of process management models in the public sector, specifically in the public transportation system of Bebedouro – SP, focusing on line 320, which connects the neighborhoods Residencial Centenário, Jardim Canadá, and Jardim Alvorada. The research employs QGIS tools for geospatial modeling of routes and ARENA software for process simulation, aiming to optimize travel time and stops, thereby promoting greater operational efficiency. The methodology included collecting travel time data between the 25 stops along the line over five weekdays. The results indicated variations in travel and stop times, with an average journey duration of 40 minutes. The route analysis and process simulation provided a clear view of improvement opportunities within the transportation processes, with significant implications for public management. The application of these management models contributes to a more efficient and transparent public administration, better equipped to meet the population’s needs effectively.
