Abstract: This study aims to chart the evolution of discussions surrounding Work-Related Quality of Life over time, exploring various theoretical and conceptual frameworks pertinent to the subject. Its objective is to deepen the scientific comprehension and investigation into both Quality of Life and Work-Related Quality of Life. This research employs a narrative review approach. In recent decades, there has been a growing recognition that the concept of Quality of Life encompasses not only biological and social dimensions but also subjective values, cultural perspectives, and environmental considerations. The concept of Quality of Work Life has been extensively discussed to enhance the interaction between organizational actions and interests, aiming to refine its framework concerning personal and economic matters, thereby facilitating a more humanized approach to employee practices. In conclusion, the importance of Quality of Life is underscored through an integrative perspective, which examines each individual's capacity, level of comprehension, and personal growth. These attributes and domains serve as the foundation for sustaining perceptions of both individual and collective states of health.
