QUALIDADE AMBIENTAL X AÇÕES ANTRÓPICAS: ESTUDO DE CASO EM UM FRAGMENTO DE MATA ATLÂNTICA, JARAGUÁ DO SUL, SC
Ações antrópicas na Mata Atlântica vêm gerando inúmeros impactos ambientais negativos. Neste contexto, o presente estudo teve como objetivo geral, estudar a qualidade ambiental de um fragmento da Mata Atlântica do IFSC Câmpus Jaraguá do Sul-Rau. Como objetivos específicos propôs-se, levantar os principais aspectos e impactos ambientais desse fragmento florestal e avaliar o grau de preservação do córrego local, antes e durante a pandemia por Covid-19. Para a revisão de literatura utilizou-se a internet, livros, artigos e revistas científicas. Já, o trabalho de campo ocorreu através de visitas in loco para observação, coleta de informações, descrição da realidade, registros fotográficos e análise qualiquantitativa de parâmetros macroscópicos observados. Os resultados revelaram que a qualidade ambiental do fragmento florestal do IFSC Câmpus Jaraguá do Sul-Rau é preocupante devido às ações antrópicas, como a degradação da vegetação e paisagem, presença de construções, supressão da mata ciliar, erosão, lixo e presença de esgoto sanitário. Por outro lado, a análise qualiquantitativa dos parâmetros macroscópicos indicou que houve uma melhora no grau de preservação do córrego local, que passou de péssimo (E), para ruim (D), após 120 dias de isolamento social, devido a Covid-19. Este trabalho de iniciação científica revelou os principais resultados de ações antrópicas na área verde e entorno do IFSC Câmpus Jaraguá do Sul-Rau e forneceu dados importantes para a sua recuperação, manejo e conservação.

Abstract:
Anthropic actions in the Atlantic Forest have been generating numerous negative environmental impacts. In this context, the present study aimed at studying the environmental quality of a fragment of the Atlantic Forest of the IFSC Jaragua do Sul-Rau campus. As its specific objectives, the survey intended to investigate the main aspects and the environmental impacts of this forest fragment and to evaluate the degree of preservation of the local stream, before and during the Covid-19 pandemic. The internet, books, articles and scientific journals were used for the literature review. The fieldwork took place through on-site visits for observation, information collection, description of reality, photographic records and qualitative and quantitative analysis of observed macroscopic parameters. The results revealed that the environmental quality of the forest fragment at IFSC Jaragua do Sul-Rau campus is of concern due to anthropic actions, such as degradation of vegetation and landscape, the presence of buildings, the suppression of riparian forest, erosion, waste and the presence of sewage. On the other hand, the qualitative and quantitative analysis of macroscopic parameters indicated that there was an improvement in the degree of preservation of the local stream, which went from terrible (E) to bad (D), after 120 days of social isolation, due to Covid-19. This scientific initiation work revealed the main results of anthropic actions in the green area and around the IFSC Jaragua do Sul-Rau campus and provided important data for its recovery, management and conservation.
