QUAL A NECESSIDADE DO ENSINO DE FÍSICA MODERNA E CONTEMPORÂNEA NO ENSINO MEDIO?
A proposta de inserir Física
Moderna no ensino médio tem sido abordada
por diversos pesquisadores na área de ensino
de física e ciências nas últimas décadas, visto
que o seu entendimento é uma necessidade
para compreender os fenômenos ligados
ao cotidiano dos estudantes. Dentro desse
contexto, o presente estudo explora através
de um questionário estruturado contendo dez
perguntas objetivas, a opinião e sentimentos
de 200 alunos do terceiro ano do ensino médio,
a respeito do ensino de física moderna na
atualidade, buscando identificar se os mesmos
gostam de estudar física, se os conceitos de
física estudados em sala de aula são aplicáveis
no seu cotidiano e principalmente, se existe
alguma abordagem de tópicos da física
moderna nas aulas de Física. O ambiente de
aplicação e desenvolvimento desse estudo
foram dez escolas públicas estaduais da
cidade Ji-Paraná no estado de Rondônia. O
objetivo deste levantamento foi constatar se
existe uma abordagem da Física Moderna no
ciclo intermediário, que desperte o interesse
do educando no estudo desta área da física
tão importante nos dias atuais, levando o aluno
a compreender as novas tecnologias e, ao
mesmo tempo propor estratégias que possam
contribuir de maneira satisfatória no ensinoaprendizagem desse ramo da física. Assim,
espera que os resultados desse estudo possam
promover uma reflexão sobre a importância
desse conhecimento no desenvolvimento e na
formação tecnológica do educando, e ao mesmo
tempo suscitar metodologias que auxiliem os
educadores.

Abstract:
The proposal to insert Modern
Physics in high school has been approached by several researchers in the area of physics
and science education in the last decades, since the knowledge of it is a necessity to
understand the phenomena related to students’ daily lives. In this context, the present
study explores through a structured questionnaire, containing ten objective questions,
the opinion and feelings of 200 students in the third year of high school, regarding the
teaching of modern physics today, in order to identify if they like to study physics, if the
concepts of physics studied in the classroom are applicable in their everyday lives and
especially, if there is any approach to modern physics topics in physics classes. The
application and development environment of this study were ten state public schools
in the city of Ji-Paraná, in the state of Rondônia - Brazil. The aim of this survey was to
verify if there is an approach of Modern Physics in the intermediate cycle that awakens
the student’s interest in the learning of this area of physics that is so important in the
present day, leading the students to the understanding of new technologies and, at the
same time, propose strategies that can contribute in a satisfactory way in the teachinglearning method of this physics’ branch. Thus, it is expected that the results of this
study can promote a reflection on the importance of this knowledge in the development
and technological formation of the learner, and concomitantly, awake methodologies
that will assist the educators.
