Abstract: The literature points out that the ludic in the performance of the clinical psychopedagogue is essential for a didactic and structured therapeutic relationship. The ludic contributes to child development, in cognitive, linguistic and social aspects. This work had the general objective: to understand how playfulness is a strategy in clinical psychopedagogy for child development. The following specific objectives were listed: to analyze important aspects of clinical psychopedagogy; discuss the benefits of playfulness for clinical psychopedagogy care and understand how playfulness influences child development. The method used was a systematic review, with a qualitative nature and bibliographical research. Materials such as scientific articles, theses and digital books, on the Google Scholar, Pepsic and Scielo platforms, from 2010 to 2022, were the basis of the study. Twelve works were part of the theoretical foundation, and the main conclusions were that clinical psychopedagogy is an area to be valued for child development, and for this to happen in an adjusted and harmonized way, the ludic is a strategy to be always incorporated in the service clinic, especially with children.
