PROTEÇÃO SOCIAL E COVID-19: O TRABALHO COM FAMÍLIAS EM UM TERRITÓRIO DE PORTO ALEGRE/RS
Este texto se dedica ao relato de experiência de estágio curricular em Serviço Social realizado durante a pandemia da Covid-19, no ano de 2021, em um Serviço de Atendimento Familiar (SAF) diretamente com famílias domiciliadas em um território em situação de vulnerabilidade em Porto Alegre no Rio Grande do Sul. O objetivo é apresentarmos as intervenções realizadas com os cidadãos, em um contexto de agravamento de desigualdades e da urgência do fortalecimento de políticas de proteção social e promover a reflexão acerca da proteção social em comunidades tidas como vulnerabilizadas durante a pandemia. A teoria que subsidia as reflexões é o materialismo histórico-dialético e autores marxistas que debatem as categorias trabalho, política social e necrocapitalismo. Os resultados obtidos revelam o impacto do recrudescimento da questão social em tempos do neoliberalismo e as repercussões no mundo do trabalho e na assistência social.

Abstract:
This text is dedicated to the experience report of a curricular internship in Social Work carried out during the Covid-19 pandemic, in the year 2021, in a Family Assistance Service (SAF) in a vulnerable territory in Porto Alegre. The objective of the text is to present the interventions carried out with citizens, in a context of worsening inequalities and the urgent need to strengthen social protection policies and to promote reflection on social protection in vulnerable communities during the pandemic. The theory that supports the reflections is historical-dialectical materialism and Marxist authors who debate the categories of work, social policy and necrocapitalism. The results obtained reveal the deepening of the social question in times of resurgence of neoliberalism and implications in the world of work and social assistance.
