PROTEÇÃO OU LIBERDADE: os dilemas do estado no enfrentamento à pandemia
O presente artigo tem como objetivo analisar os aspectos referentes à Pandemia da Covid-19, uma doença surgida na China. Pra tanto é necessário à discussão entre pandemia, proteção e liberdade e os dilemas do estado no enfretamento das demandas apresentadas pela sociedade diante do empate. Traz como metodologia a pesquisa bibliográfica pautada nos autores Polanyi (2000), Berlin (1981) e Hirschman (2000). Tem como método a perspectiva critica dialética na relação entre liberdade, política social e economia na atual conjuntura e, em seguida, discute as possíveis respostas do Estado aos dilemas postos pela sociedade em tempos de Covid-19. Em síntese, não se trata de uma relação de anulação de uma das partes, e sim de como conciliar a relação destas, já que a sociedade interfere nas ações do poder público, e este, por sua vez, busca intervir nas relações sociais.

Abstract:
This article aims to analyze aspects related to the Covid-19 Pandemic, a disease that emerged in China. Therefore, it is necessary to discuss the pandemic, protection and freedom and the dilemmas of the state in facing the demands presented by society in the face of a tie. It brings as a methodology the bibliographical research based on the authors Polanyi (2000), Berlin (1981) and Hirschman (2000). Its method is the critical dialectical perspective on the relationship between freedom, social policy and the economy in the current situation, and then discusses the possible responses of the State to the dilemmas posed by society in times of Covid-19. In summary, it is not a matter of annulment of one of the parties, but of how to reconcile their relationship, since society interferes in the actions of the public power, and this, in turn, seeks to intervene in social relations.
