Abstract: Accountability for the use of drones in armed conflict environments involves ethical, legal, and humanitarian issues that can cause significant collateral damage to civilian populations, necessitating the imposition of limits on their use and requiring the identification of those responsible for attacks that violate norms of civilian protection. The research was structured with the objective of analyzing the challenges and perspectives in the use of drones in armed conflict environments, contextualizing the protection of civil and human rights and ensuring accountability for violations. The study was conducted through bibliographic research, presenting descriptive qualitative and quantitative data on the topic acquired from academic and scientific sources. The study found that the incidence of drone attacks increases collateral damage, making it difficult to hold those involved accountable and contributing to impunity. Therefore, it is concluded that the environmental impact resulting from armed conflicts is often a neglected consequence that directly affects the population, compromising long-term social and economic recovery. Thus, the devastating impacts of military operations on environmental and human infrastructure are highlighted, emphasizing the need to improve the protection of human rights by creating stricter protocols for drone use and strengthening environmental monitoring systems. This necessitates integrating human rights, environmental, and criminal aspects to ensure the effective protection of civilians and the environment throughout armed conflicts.
