PROTAGONISMO JUVENIL OU ALIENAÇÃO: DILEMAS DO COTIDIANO E INTERAÇÕES NO CAMPO POLÍTICO
Este artigo integra uma investigação mais ampla sobre juventude, democracia e participação política. Essa temática suscita especial interesse pela imagem construída de uma juventude alienada à cultura de consumo, conectada pelas redes sociais e às novas tecnologias. Porém, apartada das questões políticas e sociais torna-se um alvo de críticas da mídia e de textos acadêmicos. O objetivo consiste em descortinar características a respeito dos processos no cotidiano, em contato com as redes de interface e mecanismos organizacionais. Do ponto de vista metodológico nos interrogamos se os jovens seriam a geração que se encontra diante de uma herança cultural estável pelas suas regras e instituições, em particular a escola? A educação como processo e a luta pela realização pessoal soam como descoberta de sujeito de direito e de reciprocidade. Se lutar também é educar, o inverso soa sociologicamente como educar é lutar! Há razões para se afirmar o significado de um sujeito de direitos e as respectivas conflitualidades.

Abstract:
This article integrates a broader investigation into youth, democracy and political participation. This theme raises special interest for the constructed image of a youth alienated from consumer culture, connected by social networks and new technologies. However, apart from political and social issues, it becomes the target of criticism from the media and academic texts. The objective is to discover characteristics about the processes in everyday life, in contact with the interface networks and organizational mechanisms. From a methodological point of view, we wonder whether young people are the generation that is facing a cultural heritage stable by its rules and institutions, in special the school? Education as a process and the struggle for personal fulfillment sound like the discovery of a subject of law and reciprocity. If fighting is also educating, the converse sounds sociologically as educating is fighting! There are reasons to affirm the meaning of a subject of rights and the respective conflicts.
