PROTAGONISMO DO ENFERMEIRO NA ASSISTÊNCIA HUMANIZADA AO PACIENTE ONCOLÓGICO: UM OLHAR REFLEXIVO
Há um grande desequilíbrio e alterações que afetam intensamente o
comportamento da família, e requer um processo de reestruturação nas diferentes
fases evolutivas da doença. Objetivo: Compreender a percepção dos enfermeiros
do Hospital Geral no município de Nova Iguaçu-RJ, acerca do tratamento oncológico
humanizado. Metodologia: Trata-se de um estudo descritivo, com abordagem
qualitativa, onde a coleta de dados ocorreu no período de maio a junho de 2019,
tendo 19 participantes sendo estes enfermeiros do Hospital Geral de Nova Iguaçu no
município de Nova Iguaçu, Rio de Janeiro/RJ. Análise e Discussão: Percebe-se que
no que diz respeito à percepção do enfermeiro perante os pacientes oncológicos, se faz
necessário apoio psicológico e notam-se progressos no quadro clínico dos pacientes
quando é dispensada atenção, o conforto emocional. Considerações Finais: O
enfermeiro possui sentimentos que devem ser resguardados para que se possa tornar
o atendimento mais humanizado para o paciente e também para o familiar.

Abstract:
There is a large imbalance and changes that greatly affect family behavior,
and requires a restructuring process in the different evolutionary stages of the disease.
Objective: To understand the perception of nurses of General Hospital in Nova Iguaçu-
RJ, about humanized cancer treatment. Methodology: This is a descriptive study with
a qualitative approach, where data collection took place from May to June 2019, with
19 participants being these nurses from the Nova Iguaçu General Hospital in the city
of Nova Iguaçu, Rio de Janeiro. / RJ. Analysis and Discussion: It is noticed that
with regard to the perception of nurses towards cancer patients, psychological support
is needed and there is progress in the clinical picture of patients when attention is
given, emotional comfort. Final Considerations: The nurse has feelings that must be
safeguarded in order to become more humanized care for the patient and also for the
family member.
