PROSTITUIÇÃO NO RIO DE JANEIRO: LITERATURA E HISTÓRIA DO SÉCULO XIX
O artigo propõe uma discussão acerca da inserção da mulher prostituída e a viabilidade de uma salvação redentora nos Processos Históricos do Rio de Janeiro do Século XIX. Seu objetivo geral é a ressignificação do papel da mulher cortesã e sua redenção a partir da narrativa literária Lucíola. Por objetivos específicos busca-se analisar a articulação História x Literatura, problematizando a prostituição e o protagonismo da mulher na sociedade fluminense do Século XIX e na literatura alencariana. Metodologicamente analisa-se textos e contextos históricos, considerando – inclusive – a carreira política do literato. As demais fontes utilizadas são de Mary Del Priori, Sidney Challoub e outros.

Abstract:
The article proposes a discussion about the insertion of prostituted women and the viability of a redemptive salvation in the historical processes of Rio de Janeiro of the 19th century. Its a general objective is to redefine the role of the courtly woman and her redemption from the literary narrative Luciola. By specific objetives we seek to analyze the historiy x literature articulation, problematizing prostituiton and the protagonismo f women in 19th century fluminense society and in alencariana literature. Methodologically, historical texts and contexts are analyzed, considering including – the political career of the literate. The other sources used from Mary Del Priori, Sidney Challoub and others.
