PROPRIEDADES FÍSICAS DE MADEIRAS COMERCIALIZADAS NO SUDESTE PARAENSE
Uma das características que influenciam a qualidade da madeira são as propriedades físicas. Sendo assim, este trabalho teve como objetivo determinar as propriedades físicas da madeira de Euxylophora spp. (amarelão), Tachigali spp. (tachi-preto) e Piptadenia spp. (timborana), comercializadas em uma serraria no município de Paragominas. As amostras foram coletadas em uma serraria no município, a seleção das espécies se deu de acordo com a disponibilidade do material. Os corpos de prova e as análises físicas foram realizadas de acordo com a NBR 7190/97. As médias de umidade variaram entre 19,42% e 40,25% a maior densidade foi da Piptadenia spp. considerada a madeira mais pesada entre as três (0,83). Para retratibilidade os maiores valores ocorreram no plano tangencial, e a espécie que apresentou maior valor foi tachi-preto e a com menor valor foi a timborana. De modo geral, as madeiras apresentam características favoráveis, possuindo alto potencial de uso nas industrias madeireiras e alto potencial econômico.

Abstract:
One of the characteristics that influence the quality of the wood are the physical properties. Therefore, this study aimed to determine the physical properties of the wood of Euxylophora spp. (yellowing), Tachigali spp. (tachi-black) and Piptadenia spp. (timborana), marketed in a sawmill in the municipality of Paragominas. The samples were collected at a sawmill in the municipality, the selection of the species took place according to the availability of the material. The bodies of evidence and physical analyses were performed according to NBR 7190/97. Humidity averages ranged from 19.42% and 40.25% the highest density was of Piptadenia spp. considered the heaviest among the three wood (0.83). For retratibility the greatest values occurred in the tangential plane, and the species that showed the highest value was tachi-black and with lower value was the timborana. Generally speaking, favourable characteristics timber, with high potential for use in logging industries and high economic potential.
