PROPRIEDADES DE ÓXIDO DE CÉRIO OBTIDO VIA SÍNTESE HIDROTERMAL ASSISTIDA POR MICRO-ONDAS
Neste trabalho, pós de óxido de cério
(CeO2
) foram obtidos via síntese hidrotermal
assistida por micro-ondas em tempos de
síntese extremamente rápidos. A morfologia
dos pós foi observada por MEV. Além disso,
foram realizadas análises de dilatometria, TGDTA e DRX. Os resultados apontaram picos
característicos da estrutura cúbica tipo fluorita,
referente ao óxido de cério, sem presença de
picos secundários. Observou-se também que
as amostras processadas em patamares de 10
e 20 minutos apresentaram comportamentos
distintos quanto às propriedades térmicas e
cristalinidade.
