Abstract: Springs determine the origin of river basins and their composition. Permanent preservation areas are considered in which the native vegetation present in the surroundings, such as riparian and gallery forests, promote soil stability, flow control and preserve the aquatic ecosystem. The objective of this research was to analyze the intensity of environmental impacts in Nascente Glória, in the Açailândia Environmental Park – MA, as a basis for a proposal for ecological analysis and restoration, through the diagnosis of conditions and impacts and macroscopic parameters, in the form checklist. To collect information, inspections were carried out to observe macroscopic parameters, classifying it according to its level of preservation (preserved, disturbed and degraded), and regarding interferences (direct or indirect) scoring the scenarios obtained. The results showed a disturbed spring, due to the radius of the riparian forest being less than 50 m, being in the process of fragmentation and, consequently, with the beginning of soil erosion and the presence of herbaceous and exotic trees of an invasive nature. The ecological restoration proposal involves a methodology involving the planting of native seedlings, in accordance with the phytophysiognomy of the local riparian forest, the isolation of anthropogenic factors of degradation, the awareness of the local population, and recommends a minimum monitoring period of five years.
