Abstract: The rural community is extremely lacking in sanitation services. The houses are devoid of minimal comfort for the residents and without individual exclusivity for each occupant who are crowded together, often in one or two compartments and the hydro-sanitary facilities practically do not exist. The sewage that comes out of houses, from most rural properties, has a single destination: holes made in the ground, called black pits. This system often contaminates the water table and wells, causing diseases such as diarrhea, cholera and hepatitis, among others, in consumers of this water. The septic tank followed by an anaerobic filter is a simple technology capable of treating sewage. The project envisages the construction of modular houses that can be built in the intended location, consisting of two bedrooms, a living room and a kitchen. Also part of the construction are hydro-sanitary installations comprising: a) domestic water tank, washing tank, washbasin, kitchen sink; b) bathroom with toilet; c) hydraulic pipes and sewage collection, among other household interventions. Domestic sewage treatment will consist of: collection network, septic tank, anaerobic filter and infiltration ditches, in places where there is no receiving body (igarapé).
