PROGRAMA SAÚDE NA ESCOLA NO MEIO RURAL: RELATO DE EXPERIÊNCIA NUMA ESTRATÉGIA EM SAÚDE DA FAMÍLIA.
O Programa Saúde na Escola (PSE)
é uma estratégia com ações de prevenção,
promoção e atenção à saúde para a formação
integral dos estudantes da rede pública de
educação básica. Para sua implementação
deverá ocorrer a efetiva participação das
equipes de Estratégia Saúde da Família (ESF),
junto as escolas pertencentes ao seu território
de abrangência. Nessa perspectiva, a equipe
de saúde inserida no contexto escolar, se faz
fundamental para que possam realizar ações e
orientação de saúde para alunos e professores,
numa perspectiva de troca de conhecimentos.
O objetivo deste relato é demonstrar como
foram abordadas as atividades do PSE em
uma escola rural da região Noroeste do Rio
Grande do Sul. Para tanto, foram realizadas
atividades antropométricas pela ESF, aferição
da pressão arterial, avaliação clínica médica
para os agravos negligenciados, teste de
acuidade visual e verificação da carteira de
vacinação, essas ações envolveram todas as
turmas. Após essa avaliação dos escolares,
a profissional enfermeira da ESF realizou
oficinas, com dinâmicas e vídeos educativos,
abordando assuntos como higiene corporal,
sexualidade, desenvolvimento reprodutivo,
drogas lícitas/ilícitas e violência/bullying. O
trabalho desenvolvido na escola aprimora as
práticas de autocuidado dos adolescentes
e crianças; possibilitando a atuação ativa
nos processos de educação em saúde dos
estudantes. Contemplando assim os objetivos
do PSE.

Abstract:
The Program Health in School (PSE) is a strategy with actions of
prevention, promotion and health care for the integral formation of students of the
public basic education network. For its implementation, the effective participation of
the Strategy Family Health (ESF) teams, together with the schools belonging to its
territory, must take place. In this perspective, the health team inserted in the school
context, becomes fundamental so that they can carry out actions and health orientation
for students and teachers, in perspective of knowledge exchange. The purpose of
this report is to demonstrate how PSE activities were approached in a rural school
in the northwest region of Rio Grande do Sul. For this, anthropometric activities were
performed by the ESF, blood pressure measurement, medical clinical evaluation for
neglected diseases, of visual acuity and verification of the vaccination card, these
actions involved all classes. After this evaluation of the students, the professional nurse
of the ESF conducted workshops, with dynamics and educational videos, addressing
issues such as body hygiene, sexuality, reproductive development, licit/illicit drugs and
violence/bullying. The work developed at the school improves the self-care practices
of adolescents and children; enabling active action in the processes of permanent
education in the health of teachers and students. Contemplating the goals of the PSE.
