PROGRAMA INSTITUCIONAL DE APOIO AO DESENVOLVIMENTO E INTEGRAÇÃO DA FAIXA DE FRONTEIRA: POSSIBILIDADE PARA A INTERNACIONALIZAÇÃO DA EXTENSÃO
Este trabalho se propõe a
apresentar o Programa Institucional de Apoio
ao Desenvolvimento e Integração da Faixa
de Fronteira, o qual, através de edital anual
elaborado pela Pró-Reitoria de Extensão, tem
o objetivo de selecionar ações de extensão
para serem desenvolvidas na faixa de fronteira
da região de abrangência do Instituto Federal
Farroupilha, através de programas, projetos,
cursos e eventos. O Programa, com edital
lançado nos anos de 2016, 2017, 2018 e
2019, já estimulou 22 ações, coordenadas por
servidores e realizadas por esses juntamente
com a participação de alunos extensionistas,
bolsistas e voluntários. São ações bilaterais
bem-sucedidas que promovem a intensificação
dos laços entre o Brasil e os países limítrofes,
em especial Uruguai e Argentina, e contribuem
para as condições locais de cidadania,
integração e promoção do desenvolvimento,
além da qualificação no processo de formação
dos envolvidos.

Abstract:
This paper proposes to present
the Institutional Program to Support the
Development and Integration of the Border
Band, which, through an annual edict prepared
by the Pro-Rectory of Extension, has the
objective of selecting extension actions to be
developed in the Border Range of the coverage
area of Instituto Federal Farroupilha, through
programs, projects, courses and events. The
program, with edict launched in the years 2016,
2017, 2018 and 2019, has already stimulated
22 actions, coordinated by servers and carried
out by these, along with the participation of
extension, scholarship and volunteer students.
They are successful bilateral actions that
promote the intensification of the ties among
Brazil and the bordering countries, especially
Uruguay and Argentina, and contribute to
the local conditions of citizenship, integration
and promotion of development, besides the
qualification in the process of training of those
involved.
