PRODUÇÃO DE SENTIDOS SOBRE A AMÉRICA LATINA NA ANIMAÇÃO MOUK
O trabalho analisa a produção de sentidos sobre a América Latina em uma animação, disponibilizada em veículos televisivos e em repositórios de vídeos na Internet. A pesquisa é de caráter qualitativo, filiada às proposições teórico-metodológicas dos Estudos Culturais no campo da Educação, e se dedica à investigação da animação Mouk, analisando episódios sobre a América Latina. Foi construído um dispositivo analítico, que resultou em duas categorias – paisagens e identidades culturais, sendo produzidos dois metatextos para discutir cada uma. Foi observado que as imagens apresentadas ao longo dos episódios possibilitam o reconhecimento de paisagens que correspondem às realidades dos ambientes representados. Contudo, no que se refere às identidades culturais construídas pela animação, ainda há a presença de elementos que podem levar a compreensões estereotipadas ou reducionistas a respeito da complexidade sociocultural da América Latina. Assim, torna-se necessário problematizar e construir novas oportunidades no âmbito da divulgação científica, da educomunicação e do ensino formal, a fim de corroborar para a disseminação de visões mais reflexivas e inquiridoras sobre os dispositivos midiáticos e suas produções de sentido, ampliando as possibilidades de uma leitura mais crítica do mundo.

Abstract:
This work analyzes the production of meanings about Latin America in an animation, available on television vehicles and in video repositories on Internet. The research is qualitative, affiliated with the theoretic and methodological propositions of Cultural Studies in the field of Education and dedicated to the investigation of Mouk animation, analyzing episodes about Latin America. An analytical device was built, which resulted in two categories - landscapes and cultural identities, with two metatexts being produced to discuss each one. It was observed that the images presented throughout the episodes allow the recognition of landscapes that correspond to the realities of the environments represented. However, with regard to cultural identities constructed by animation, there is still the presence of elements that can lead to stereotyped or reductionist understandings about the socio-cultural complexity of Latin America. Thus, it is necessary to problematize and build new opportunities within the scope of scientific dissemination, educommunication and formal education, in order to support the dissemination of more reflective and inquiring views about media devices and their production of meaning, expanding the possibilities of a more critical reading of the world.
