PRODUÇÃO DE ARGAMASSAS COM SUBSTITUIÇÃO PARCIAL DE CIMENTO E AGREGADO POR CINZAS DE CARVÃO VAPOR
Nesta pesquisa avalia-se a influência da substituição simultânea de cinza leve e cinza pesada, obtidas da combustão de carvão vapor, em argamassa, sendo a cinza leve em substituição ao cimento e a cinza pesada em substituição ao agregado miúdo. A cinza leve foi dosada para teores de substituição ao cimento, em volume, de 10 e 30%. Já a cinza pesada, substituiu o agregado miúdo nas parcelas de 5 e 7%. Foram realizados ensaios de índice de consistência, resistência à tração na flexão, compressão, além da porosidade e absorção de água por capilaridade. Foi observado um aumento na resistência da argamassa quando incorporado apenas a cinza leve.

Abstract:
This research evaluates the influence of the simultaneous replacement of light fly ash and heavy fly ash, obtained from the combustion of steam coal, in mortar, being the light fly ash replacing the cement and the heavy fly ash replacing the fine aggregate. The light fly ash was dosed for cement replacement levels, by volume, of 10 and 30%. The heavy fly ash replaced the fine aggregate in 5 and 7%. Tests of consistency index, resistance to flexural traction, compression, porosity, and water absorption by capillarity were performed. An increase in mortar strength was observed when only light fly ash was incorporated.
