PROCESSOS DE SISTEMATIZAÇÃO NA SELEÇÃO LEXICAL EM PLE/PL2: A INTENSIFICAÇÃO DO ADJETIVO
Este trabalho apresenta a parte
inicial de uma pesquisa realizada na PUC-Rio
sobre o processo de intensificação adjetival
que ocorre no português falado no Brasil, mais
especificamente na cidade do Rio de Janeiro.
Pretendemos identificar, descrever, analisar e
categorizar as estratégias envolvidas no modo
de construção das estruturas que intensificam o
adjetivo propriamente realizado ou substituído
por alguma outra forma linguística. Nosso
objetivo é desenvolver um estudo descritivo
em português como língua materna (PLM)
para que possamos obter diretrizes que
norteiem de modo mais eficiente o processo
de ensino e aprendizagem do português
como segunda língua (PLE2) ou como língua
estrangeira (PLE) no que diz respeito ao
funcionamento do léxico de intensificação. Os
pressupostos teóricos dessa pesquisa estão
inseridos nos estudos desenvolvidos pela
Gramática Funcional do Discurso (Hengeveld,
2004), pela Teoria Semântica Lexical (Basílio,
2001 e, Nattinger&DeCarrico, 1992) e pelo
Interculturalismo(Hall, 1998, Bennett, 1998 e
Singer, 2000). O procedimento metodológico,
de base qualitativa, foi realizado com dados
coletados em um programa de televisão,
veiculado por uma das emissoras mais
assistidas no país e que abrange, em geral,
o público jovem. Este programa, intitulado
Malhação, apresenta um expressivo conjunto
de unidades lexicais recorrente na modalidade
oral utilizada por moradores da zona sul do Rio
de Janeiro.

Abstract:
This paper presents the initial part
of a research carried out at PUC-Rio about the
process of adjectival intensification that occurs
in Portuguese spoken in Brazil, more specifically
in the city of Rio de Janeiro. We intend to identify,
describe, analyze and categorize the strategies
involved in the construction of structures that
intensify the adjective properly realized or
replaced by some other linguistic form. Our goal
is to develop a descriptive study in Portuguese
as a mother tongue (PLM) so that we can obtain
guidelines that guide the teaching and learning
process of Portuguese as a second language
(PLE2) or as a foreign language (PLE) in a more
efficient way. the lexicon of intensification. The
theoretical presuppositions of this research are inserted in the studies developed by
the Functional Grammar of Discourse (Hengeveld, 2004), by Lexical Semantic Theory
(Basil, 2001 and, Nattinger & DeCarrico, 1992) and by Interculturalism (Hall, 1998,
Bennett, 1998 and Singer, 2000 ). The qualitative methodological procedure was
carried out with data collected on a television program, broadcast by one of the most
assisted broadcasters in the country, which generally covers young audiences. This
program, called Malhação, presents an expressive set of recurrent lexical units in the
oral modality used by residents of the southern zone of Rio de Janeiro.
