PROCESSOS DE AVALIAÇÃO DESCRITOS NOS CADERNOS DO ACERVO MARIA FRANCA PIRES
Este artigo trata do relato de pesquisa no Acervo da Professora Maria Franca Pires, instalado no Departamento de Ciências Humanas da Universidade do Estado da Bahia, com vistas a descrever os processos avaliativos utilizados por esta professora no período que compreende o final da década de 1950 até início da década de 1970. Desta forma, a análise permitiu compreender como esses processos adotados, poderiam contribuir para a melhoria da aprendizagem dos alunos e como serviam para diagnosticar os reais problemas existentes. Buscou-se como metodologia a pesquisa documental, Teixeira (2005), para fundamentar os conceitos de avaliação contemporânea e a partir dele fazer a análise nos cadernos sistematizados pela docente. O referencial teórico se valeu das contribuições de Perrenoud (1999); Zaballa (1998) e Demo (1999). Percebe-se nos cadernos analisados, que a professora Maria Franca Pires, ainda no século XX, preocupava-se com o aprendizado dos alunos, adotando diferentes estratégias avaliativas, que envolviam aspectos diagnósticos, formativos e classificatórios. Assim, podemos dizer que desde meados do século XX, existiam no município de juazeiro aspectos da educação contextualizada, voltada principalmente para a aprendizagem dos alunos.

Abstract:
This article is based on the research repoort of the collecton of professor Maria Franca Pires, which is available in the Department of Human Sciences, of the University of the State of Bahia, and its purpose is to describe the evaluation processes used by the mentioned professor above, in the period that she undertake from the 1950s until the beginning of the 1970s. In this way, in this research is possible to comprehend the improvment of students´ learning and how it serve to identify the real problems that could exist. As methodology, a documental research was sought, Teixeira (2005), to support the concepts of contemporary evaluation and from there, analyze in the systematized notebooks by the docente.
The theorical reference was based on the contribution of Perrenoud (1999); Zaballa (1998) and Demo (1999). It can be seen in the analyzed notebooks, that professor Maria Franca Pires, even in the twentieth century, was concerned with the students´ learning, adopting diferent evaluation strategies, which involved diagnostic, training and classificatory aspects. Thus, we can say that since the middle of the twentieth century, there were contextualized educational aspects in the municipality of Juazeiro, mainly focused on students´ learning.
