PROCESSO DE REVELAÇÃO DO DIAGNÓSTICO DE CRIANÇAS COM SÍNDROME DE DOWN: UMA REVISÃO NARRATIVA
Objetivo: Avaliar na literatura científica como é realizado o processo de revelação do diagnóstico de crianças com SD. Metodologia: Trata-se de uma revisão narrativa da literatura a partir de artigos das seguintes bases de dados: na Medical Literature Analysis and Retrieval System Online, na Literatura Latino-Americana e do Caribe em Ciências da Saúde e na SciVerse SCOPUS. No formulário avançado foram inseridas seguintes as palavras-chave: revelação da verdade ou revelação ou revelação ou diagnóstico e síndrome de down. Seguiu-se, atendendo os seguintes parâmetros de inclusão: estudos que tivessem seus resumos disponíveis nas bases de dados, na íntegra, online e gratuitos, em português, inglês ou espanhol. E os seguintes parâmetros de exclusão: teses, dissertações, monografias e seus respectivos capítulos. A coleta dos estudos ocorreu em agosto de 2020. Utilizou-se uma análise descritiva. Resultados: Houve a separação dos artigos por eixos temáticos, sendo estes: Impacto e consequências da Revelação de Diagnóstico e a importância da comunicação junto aos pais (42,0%); Mudanças na rotina das famílias de crianças com SD, sentimentos e emoções (15,0%); A importância da revelação precoce do diagnóstico pelos dos profissionais da saúde (21,0%), minimizando impactos; A necessidade de orientar a família como estabelecer interação e relação com as crianças com SD (21,0%). Conclusões: Salienta-se a necessidade do incentivo a realização de capacitações e sensibilizações acerca da revelação do diagnóstico à equipe multiprofissional, a qual irá realizar a assistência inicial e prestar diretamente os cuidados.

Abstract:
Objective: Evaluate in the scientific literature how the diagnosis of children with DS is carried out. Methodology: It is a narrative review of the literature based on articles from the following databases: in the Medical Literature Analysis and Retrieval System Online, in the Latin American and Caribbean Literature in Health Sciences and in the SciVerse SCOPUS. In the advanced form, the following keywords were inserted: revelation of the truth or revelation or revelation or diagnosis and down syndrome. It followed, taking into account the following inclusion parameters: studies that had their abstracts available in the databases, in full, online and free, in Portuguese, English or Spanish. And the following exclusion parameters: theses, dissertations, monographs and their respective chapters. The studies were collected in August 2020. A descriptive analysis was used. Results: There was a separation of articles by thematic axes, which are: Impact and consequences of the Disclosure of Diagnosis and the importance of communicating with parents (42.0%); Changes in the routine of families with children with DS, feelings and emotions (15.0%); The importance in the speech of health professionals when revealing the diagnosis and its precocity (21.0%), minimizing impacts; The need to guide the family on how to establish interaction and relationship with children with DS (21.0%). Conclusions: Emphasis is placed on the need to encourage training and awareness about the disclosure of the diagnosis to the multiprofessional team, which will carry out the initial assistance and directly provide care.
