Abstract: Objective: to analyze the scientific evidence about the nursing process applied to patients with a tumor wound. Methods: integrative review, through the search of articles indexed in the databases: MEDLINE via Pubmed; BDENF and LILACS via VHL portal; CINALH via Capes portal. Results: 22 articles were selected, in which it was identified that the 3rd planning stage and the 4th implementation stage were the most described in the studies, and the second stage of nursing diagnoses was the least addressed. Conclusion: the present study identified a weakness in the application of the nursing process applied to the patient with a tumor wound. It is noticed the absence of studies that address all stages of the nursing process, concluding that the process needs to be further studied and applied in the clinical practice of this clientele. Contributions to practice: analyzing the evidence allows understanding the weaknesses and improvements that need to be made in the application of the nursing process applied to the patient with a tumor wound, thus contributing to subsidize research in the field of oncology nursing, and the training of new professionals in the field of oncology.
