Princípio-realidade e princípio-misericórdia como método teológico
Talvez um dos maiores desafios que as “Teologias da Libertação” tenham na atualidade seja a formulação de um método que as una. Já não é possível falar somente de “Teologia da Libertação”, mas de “Teologias da Libertação” uma vez que se verifica o fortalecimento dos discursos teológicos feminista, afro, indígena, sobre a diversidade afetivo-sexual, entre outros. Contudo, essa riqueza de discursos e enfoques não faria com que a libertação, categoria central para esta Teologia feita desde o Sul, se perca? Não se deve esquecer que a Conferência de Medellín, cujo cinquentenário foi celebrado em 2018, equipara libertação a salvação (Justiça, n. 04) e, com isso, resgata a realidade de que o dom de Deus oferecido à humanidade em Jesus de Nazaré não se realiza somente no fim dos tempos, mas já pode ser vivido na história. O presente trabalho pretende refletir sobre o método teológico de J. Sobrino, na perspectiva do princípio-realidade e do princípio-misericórdia, e apresentar horizontes para o quefazer teológico em uma América Latina dilacerada por discursos fundamentalistas, ferida por uma guerra cultural contra as chamadas minorias da sociedade e despedaçada por ver tantas filhas e filhos seus morrer lentamente, todos os dias, sob a miséria que não retrocede. O trabalho foi apresentado no encontro anual da SOTER de 2019 e se encontra publicado em seus anais.

Abstract:
Maybe the highest challenge the “Theologies of Liberation” must face nowadays is the formulation of a method that unites them. It is not possible to speak about only one “Theology of Liberation”, but “Theologies of Liberation”, in plural, once the feminists, afro, indigenous and diversity of affectivity and sexuality speeches grow stronger. However, could not this richness of speeches and approaches take away the liberation, central category of Theology made from the South? What cannot be forgotten is the statement made by the Conference of Medellin: liberation also means salvation (Justice, n. 04); the fiftieth anniversary of this conference was celebrated last year (2018). It stresses that the gift given by God to humanity in Jesus of Nazareth will not be just fulfilled in the end of days but may be lived in the history. This present paper intends to reflect on J. Sobrino’s theological method, especially from the perspective of the principle-reality and the principle-mercy, and to present horizons to the theological making in a Latin America torn apart by fundamentalists speeches, wounded by a cultural war against the so-called social minorities and shattered of watching everyday her children slowly dying because of a misery that never goes back. This paper was presented at the annual meeting of SOTER, in 2018, and was published in its annales.
