PRINCIPAIS INTERAÇÕES MEDICAMENTOSAS COM O ÁLCOOL: UMA REVISÃO DE LITERATURA
A interação medicamentosa ocorre a partir da administração de fármacos os quais podem interferir na absorção, ação, metabolização e eliminação de outras substâncias, tais como o álcool. Dessa forma, diversas reações podem ser induzidas, desde situações mais leves e toleráveis até eventos graves de intoxicação aguda. Outrossim, fatores inerentes ao organismo interferem nos processos de interações medicamentos e é nesse sentido que torna-se válido o estudo sobre as principais interações entre o uso concomitante de álcool e fármacos comuns no cotidiano. Portanto, o presente estudo teve como objetivo desenvolver um estudo bibliográfico sobre a relação entre uso de álcool e administração de outros medicamentos, tema de suma importância para a prática clínica.

Abstract:
The medication interaction occurs from the administration of drugs that can interfere with the absorption, action, metabolization and elimination of other substances, such as alcohol. Thus, several reactions can be induced, from lighter and more tolerable situations to serious events of acute intoxication. Furthermore, factors inherent to the organism interfere in the processes of drug interactions and it is in this sense that the study of the main interactions between the concomitant use of alcohol and common drugs in daily life becomes valid. Therefore, this study aimed at developing a bibliographic study on the relationship between the use of alcohol and the administration of other medications, a subject of utmost importance for clinical practice.
