PRINCIPAIS BENEFÍCIOS DOS TRATAMENTOS MEDICAMENTOSOS E FISIOTERÁPICOS NA OSTEOARTRITE
Dentre as doenças articulares de todo o mundo, a osteoartrite (OA) é a patologia de maior prevalência, em especial nos idosos. Apresenta sintomas como dores crônicas e limitação de movimento, os quais representam importante redução na qualidade de vida dos indivíduos. Seu tratamento pode ser feito em diversas abordagens, sendo representadas por métodos farmacológicos, fitoterápicos, fisioterápicos, técnicas elétricas e magnéticas, entre outros. O objetivo do estudo atual é abordar as principais formas de tratamento da OA visando elucidar seus benefícios.

Abstract:
Of all joint diseases worldwide, osteoarthritis (OA) is the most prevalent pathology, especially among the elderly. It presents itself with symptoms such as chronic pain and limitation of movement, which represents an important reduction in the quality of life of individuals. Its treatment can be done through several approaches, such as pharmacological, herbal, physiotherapeutic, electrical and magnetic techniques, among others. The aim of the present study is to address the main forms of OA treatment, in order to elucidate their benefits.
