PRIMEIROS SOCORROS: AVALIAÇÃO DO CONHECIMENTO DE DOCENTES DE ESCOLAS PÚBLICAS NO MUNICÍPIO DE CASCAVEL-PR
O presente estudo teve como
objetivo avaliar o conhecimento em primeiros
socorros de professores de escolas públicas
do município Cascavel-PR. Trata-se de uma
pesquisa quantitativa de caráter exploratóriodescritivo.
A coleta de dados foi realizada por
questionário contendo questões fechadas
e algumas descritivas. Fizeram parte da
amostra alguns docentes do nono ano do
ensino fundamental de escolas públicas da
região Sul do município referido. Os dados
resultantes foram tabulados em planilha
eletrônica, caracterizados e analisados por
meio da estatística e expressos de maneira
descritiva. Concluiu-se que os professores da
amostra foram coerentes diversas vezes com
a literatura ao responderem às questões sobre
primeiros socorros, apesar de várias notas
terem sido insuficientes e da maioria deles não
ter recebido formação nesse tema durante e
após a graduação. A pesquisa também mostrou
que o conhecimento em primeiros socorros
desses educadores não depende do tempo
de atuação na docência, da área de formação
nem das práticas educativas realizadas durante
e após o ensino superior. Sugere-se ser de
grande relevância que esses docentes recebam
atividades educativas em primeiras assistências
de forma continuada e inovadora, nos aspectos
teórico e prático, para que possam assimilar as
informações mais pertinentes ao assunto por
maior tempo. Vale ressaltar que os resultados
desse trabalho poderão embasar ações futuras
de transformação da realidade escolar, além
de ser consonante com a Política Nacional de
Redução da Morbimortalidade por Acidentes e
Violência do Ministério da Saúde.

Abstract:
This study aimed at evaluating
the first aid knowledge of public-school
teachers in Cascavel-PR city. Thus, this is a
quantitative study of exploratory and descriptive
character. Data collection was carried out by a
questionnaire with alternative questions and some descriptive ones. Teachers from
the ninth year of high school at public schools in Southern region of Cascavel-PR
volunteered themselves to answers such questionnaire. The resulting data were
tabulated in an electronic spreadsheet, characterized and statistically analyzed, as well
as expressed descriptively and tabled ways. It was observed that the sampled teachers
were in accordance with the literature when they answered the questionnaire concerning
first aid, despite several scores have been recorded as inadequate and most of them
have not carried out educational practices in this area during and after graduation. The
research has also shown that knowledge in first aid regarding these teachers does
not depend on teaching labor time, training, educational area or practices undertaken
during and after higher education. This suggests that it is of great importance that these
teachers receive educational practices on first aid in a continuous and innovative way,
based on theoretical and practical aspects so that they can get enough information that
is essential to this subject. It is noteworthy that the obtained results can base future
actions to change the school reality, besides being in line with the National Policy
on Reduction of Morbidity and Mortality by Accidents and Violence of the Ministry of
Health.
