PREVENÇÃO DE INFECÇÃO PRIMÁRIA DE CORRENTE SANGUÍNEA E AS BOAS PRÁTICAS DE SAÚDE: RELATO DE EXPERIÊNCIA
infecção primária de corrente sanguínea é uma das infecções hospitalares que
preocupa as instituições de saúde. Sendo assim, medidas de prevenção, como as boas
práticas de saúde são uma ferramenta que pode ser utilizada para sensibilizar a equipe
de enfermagem. Para isto, propõe-se pe relatar o desenvolvimento de uma intervenção
educativa para capacitar a equipe de enfermagem acerca das boas práticas para a
prevenção da infecção primária de corrente sanguínea. Este estudo caracteriza-se por um
relato de experiência realizado em uma unidade de internação, entre agosto e outubro de
2018. Sensibilizou-se a equipe de enfermagem acerca da prevenção das infecçãoes, a
partir das boas práticas de saúde. A higiene das mãos, desinfecção das conexões e troca
de oclusores, ainda precisam de maior adesão. Os achados evidenciam que existe a
utilização de boas práticas de saúde, pela equipe de enfermagem, no que tange a
prevenção primária de corrente sanguínea, porém ações educativas que favoreçam o
comprometimento profissional precisam serem reforçadas, visando a segurança do
paciente.

Abstract:
primary bloodstream infection is one of the nosocomial infections that
worries health institutions. Therefore, preventive measures, such as good health practices,
are a tool that can be used to sensitize the nursing team. For this, it is proposed to report
the development of an educational intervention to train the nursing team about good
practices for the prevention of primary bloodstream infection. This study is characterized
by an experience report carried out in an inpatient unit, between August and October
2018. The nursing team was sensitized about the prevention of infections, based on good
health practices. Hand hygiene, disinfection of connections and exchange of occluders still
need greater adherence. The findings show that there is the use of good health practices,
by the nursing team, regarding the primary prevention of blood flow, but educational
actions that favor professional commitment need to be reinforced, aiming at patient safety.
