Abstract: This work addressed the incidence of gestational syphilis, more precisely, in the territorial coverage of the 5th Health Region, in Guarapuava. For the data was collected from the DATASUS/Tabnet platform was used, as a virtual environment that monitors and generates registration rates for this infectious disease. The present study was justified due to the growing number of cases of gestational syphilis and the need to improve maternal health care. Gestational syphilis is a direct threat to the health of the pregnant woman, as well as a significant risk to the fetus, with a potential risk of death for the baby, in a more serious context of the disease. The objectives were to evaluate the prevalence of gestational syphilis in the 5th Health Region; determine the prevalence of gestational syphilis in the area covered by this Region; comprehensively analyze prenatal health records from the 5th Region to identify the prevalence of gestational syphilis in pregnant women, in a specific time frame; assess risk factors and associated social determinants; investigate potential risk factors for gestational syphilis, including demographic, socioeconomic and behavioral characteristics of pregnant women in this region and to comply with the obligatory requirement for the Graduation, Bachelor's degree in Nursing at Campo Real University Center. To this end, the work was supported by extensive bibliography on syphilis and also on gestational syphilis. The data was collected on the DATASUS/Tabnet platform, specifically the data collected between 2015 and 2021. The profile of the public, subject of the research, covered young people, adolescents and female adults, divided into age groups, from 10 to 60 years of age. As result, the highest rate of registered cases is concentrated in young women and adults aged 15 to 39 years, inferring that this is the most sexually active age group and most vulnerable to risks to the personal health and of the unborn baby. It was concluded that, if there isn´t monitoring and strong public health actions, the statistics on syphilis and, consequently, gestational disease with the number of victims becoming more numerous every day
