PRESENÇA DAS MULHERES NOS SINDICATOS DOCENTES NO BRASIL
RESUMO: O trabalho em tela visa discutir e dar visibilidade a resultados de pesquisa sobre as relações sociais de gênero e a construção das identidades dos/as sindicalizados/as do Sindicato dos Trabalhadores em Educação Básica da Rede Oficial do Estado de Sergipe (SINTESE). Devido à natureza do objeto, foi adotada a abordagem qualitativa de inspiração histórico-dialética. A opção metodológica recaiu pelo estudo de caso por meio da consulta a diferentes fontes de informação: revisão da literatura pertinente; questionários; entrevistas semiestruturadas; observação direta e pesquisa em sites de sindicatos docentes na internet. Os resultados da pesquisa informam a predominância de homens nos sindicatos docentes nos cargos diretivos de poder/decisão, particularmente nas regiões Norte, Sudeste e Centro-Oeste. Na Região Sul, as mulheres são maioria comparativamente aos homens. No Nordeste, o número de homens e mulheres nas direções das entidades é equilibrado.

Abstract:
ABSTRACT: This paper aims to discuss and give visibility to results of a research on social gender relations and the construction of the identities of union members of the Union of Workers of Basic Education in the Network of Public Schools in the State of Sergipe (SINTESE) - Brazil. Due to the nature of the object, the qualitative approach of historical-dialectical inspiration was adopted. The methodological option applied was case study, through consultation to different sources: review of relevant literature; questionnaires; semi-structured interviews; direct observation and research on teaching union websites on internet. Results of the survey show the predominance of men in the teaching unions in the directive power / decision positions, particularly in the North, Southeast and Midwest regions of the country. In the Southern region, women are the majority compared to men. In Northeastern Brazil, the number of men and women in the entities' directions is balanced.
