PRÁXIS DA FISIOTERAPIA NA SINDEMIA POR COVID-19: CONTEXTUALIZAÇÃO E PROGNOSE
A fisioterapia é uma ciência da saúde que estuda, previne e trata os distúrbios cinéticos funcionais, sendo responsável pela recuperação físico-funcional de órgãos e sistemas do corpo humano. Há relatos de sua prática desde a Idade Antiga. A fisioterapia está associada ao contexto da saúde promocional, preventiva, assistencial e reabilitacional, identificando o fisioterapeuta como um profissional com conhecimentos epidemiológicos necessários a atuação no combate frontal até o pós-Covid-19. Na pesquisa de revisão foi descrito a atuação da fisioterapia na Covid-19, destacando a patogenicidade e o atendimento ambulatorial e hospitalar realizado pelo fisioterapeuta. A necessidade de atualização e capacitação profissional e a adequação do sistema de saúde quanto a maior capacidade de atendimento de sequelas posteriores a doença foi o foco do estudo.

Abstract:
Physical therapy is a health science that studies prevent and treats functional kinetic disorders, being responsible for the physical-functional recovery of organs and systems of the human body. There are reports of its practice from the Ancient Ages. Physical therapy is associated with the context of promotional, preventive, care, and rehabilitation health, identifying the physical therapist as a professional with epidemiological knowledge needed to work in frontal combat until the post-Covid-19 period. In the review research, the role of physiotherapy at Covid-19 was described, highlighting the physiotherapist's pathogenicity and outpatient and hospital care. The need for updating and professional training and adequacy of the health system in terms of greater capacity to deal with sequelae after the disease was the focus of the study.
