Abstract: This study presents the pedagogical experiences of teachers in the Initial and Continuing Training (FIC) course for School Assistants, offered by the Instituto Federal Sudeste de Minas Gerais (IF Sudeste MG), in the Mulheres Mil Program. This program is a Brazilian public policy, implemented since 2007, which promotes the professional training of women in situations of social vulnerability. Relaunched in 2023, the program adopts the Access, Permanence and Success Methodology (MAPE), based on Popular Education and guided by principles such as dialogicity, problematization, equality and empowerment. Teachers encouraged the collective construction of knowledge through discussions of transversal themes, dynamics and problem-solving techniques, facilitating critical reflection and promoting a horizontal construction of knowledge. The activities addressed topics such as social inequality, racism and inclusion, encouraging students to become agents of transformation in their communities. The results of the pedagogical practices highlighted the fundamental role of the students' experiences in building a learning environment. Based on the principle of dialogicity, the teachers' practices encouraged open dialogue, allowing the students to recognize themselves as protagonists of their learning process, strengthening their empowerment. Thus, the pedagogical practices showed the effectiveness of MAPE in creating a collaborative environment, allowing students to develop essential technical and socio-emotional skills. In this way, the Mulheres Mil program stands out as an important strategy to promote the inclusion and empowerment of women in vulnerable situations, generating a positive impact on the community and contributing to a fairer and more equal education.
