PRÁTICAS NA METODOLOGIA DE ENSINO DE BIOLOGIA – UMA PROPOSTA PARA AUXILIAR O PROCESSO DE ENSINO E APRENDIZAGEM
A presença de atividades práticas
nas aulas de Biologia é uma ferramenta
educacional importante para que os estudantes
interajam e participem ativamente da construção
e da aplicação dos conteúdos de Biologia.
Para execução deste estudo, foi realizada uma
visita técnica à Escola Estadual de Educação
Profissional Juca Fontenelle em Viçosa do
Ceará, com o objetivo de investigar práticas
utilizadas na metodologia do ensino de Biologia
que sejam facilitadoras para o processo de
ensino e aprendizagem e, pesquisar sobre
as opiniões dos docentes em relação à
utilização deste tipo de atividade, permitindo
investigar como o docente pode criar condições
necessárias para facilitar a aprendizagem.
As aulas práticas foram consideradas pelos
docentes como um mecanismo facilitador
em sala de aula, tendo em vista que, nestas
aulas, os estudantes apresentam-se muito
mais interessados e participativos no
desenvolvimento destas. A aprovação dada a
este tipo de metodologia é essencial para que
seja alcançada uma aprendizagem significativa
e para que sejam desenvolvidas habilidades
importantes como, raciocínio e criticidade,
considerando a promoção da participação
estudantil na construção de conhecimento.

Abstract:
The presence of practical activities
in Biology classes is an important educational
tool for students to interact and participate
actively in the construction and application
of Biology contents. To carry out this study, a
technical visit was made to the Professional
State School Juca Fontenelle in Viçosa from
Ceará, with the objective of investigating
practices used in the teaching methodology
of Biology that are facilitators for the teaching
and learning process and to research on the
opinion of teachers regarding the use of this
type of activity, allowing to investigate how the
teacher can create the necessary conditions to
facilitate learning. The practical classes were
considered, by the teachers, as a facilitating
mechanism in the classroom, considering
that, in these classes, the students present themselves much more interested and
participative in the development of these. The approval of this type of methodology is
essential for achieving meaningful learning and for the development of important skills
such as reasoning and criticality, considering the promotion of student participation in
the construction of knowledge.
