PRÁTICAS INTEGRATIVAS E COMPLEMENTARES NO CONTEXTO RURAL RELATO DE EXPERIÊNCIA
Relato de experiência de uma
moradora da comunidade rural do centro do
estado do Rio Grande do Sul sobre o uso de
terapias integrativas e complementares para
o cuidado com a saúde. Pesquisa qualitativa,
descritiva, relato de experiência. Coleta de
dados com entrevista semi-estruturada, e
análise temática dos dados. A pesquisa foi
aprovada pelo Comitê de Ética em Pesquisa.
Como resultado, o estudo identificou as
principais terapias usadas pela moradora (Reiki,
Massagem, Benzedura, Radiestesia e Plantas
Medicinais), a herança familiar existente na
transmissão do conhecimento e a “paixão” em
relatar suas práticas e saberes. Foi relatado
um desconforto pela entrevistada referente ao
descrédito existente por parte dos profissionais
de saúde sobre o saber e utilização das práticas
integrativas e complementares. A análise
permitiu a construção de três eixos temáticos:
“aprendi em família”; “conheço a utilização, mas
desconheço os nomes científicos e populares
das terapias complementares” e o “doutor
debochou de mim”. Por fim, o estudo apresentou
a necessidade de avançar na aproximação
o conhecimento científico do popular e desta
forma melhorar a integração entre as práticas
e saberes junto à população, com vistas à
prevenção de doenças, promoção da saúde e a
integralidade do cuidado.

Abstract:
Experience report of a resident of the rural community in the state the
center of Rio Grande do Sul on the use of complementary and integrative therapies
to care for the health. Qualitative research, descriptive type experience report is the
collection of data from semi-structured interviews, and data analysis was applied to
analyze theme. The study was approved by the Ethics Committee of the Institution which
is linked. As a result, the study identified the main therapies used by the resident (Reiki,
Massage, Benzedura, Dowsing and Medicinal Plants), the existing family heritage in
the transmission of knowledge and “passion” to report their practices and knowledge.
discomfort by the interviewee regarding the existing disbelief was reported by health
professionals on knowledge and use of complementary and integrative practices. The
analysis allowed the construction of three themes: “learned in the family”; “I know the
use, but unknown to the scientific and common names of complementary therapies”
and “Doctor mocked me.” Finally, the study showed the need for progress in bringing the
scientific knowledge of popular and thus improve the integration between the practices
and knowledge among the population, with a view to prevention and health promotion
and comprehensive care
