Abstract: Introduction: The concept of health is enshrined in the 1988 federal constitution, which states that health results from and is determined by numerous social, economic, political, and cultural factors. Among them, we can highlight work, income, education, sanitation, housing, food, freedom, land ownership, and access to citizenship rights. Therefore, to ensure the health of the population, it is not enough to treat diseases: it is necessary to promote the conditions that provide a healthy and dignified life for individuals, families, and communities. Objective: To report the experience of physical therapy students regarding the integrative practices course, which focuses on expanding the knowledge acquired in the classroom and applying it in the field in order to gain experiences with the public through the actions carried out. Methodology: This is a descriptive study, a type of experience report, obtained from the experiences carried out in the integrative practices course in physical therapy at the City of Teresina, held in the year 2022. Discussion Result: Five actions were carried out between September and November, the first with the theme of mental health and traffic violence, the second with the theme of Children's Day, with games and distribution of candies, the third action with the theme of Pink October for the pregnant women of Casa Maria Menina and high school students of the Magister group. We concluded with the last action with the students of the Magister group, with the theme of aromatherapy, which is a very ancient technique that works with oils extracted from aromatic plants. Conclusion: The actions carried out brought enormous knowledge both to the students and the target audience who gained knowledge and shared experiences lived during the discussion circles, who showed interest and attention to our project, providing us with academic growth that will be taken into the future job market.
