PRACTICE OF CONTINGENCY AT SCHOOL OF CHEMICAL SCIENCES, TO AVOID THE HUMAN INFLUENZA VIRUS AH1N1
El Rector de la Universidad Autónoma de Chihuahua, preocupado por la salud de los alumnos, maestros y trabajadores administrativos, emitió a través de la Secretaría General, hacia todas las unidades académicas el implementar medidas preventivas para evitar la infección con el virus de la influenza humana, conocido como AH1N1. Por lo que, el Director de la Facultad de Ciencias Químicas, ordenó el proveer en los baños: agua, papel y gel sanitizante, para el constante lavado de manos, así como la sanitización de pupitres y el ambiente de salones y laboratorios. Otra medida implementada fue el de realizar visitas a los salones, para hacer recomendaciones a maestros y alumnos, a través de una encuesta, acerca de si muestran síntomas que denoten la presencia del virus de la influenza humana, del 7 al 14 de mayo del 2009. Como resultado de las visitas diarias se entrevistaron un promedio de 24 maestros, 397 alumnos y 145 trabajadores administrativos; encontrándose un maestro y 4 alumnos que mostraron síntomas sospechosos, a quienes se les procesó pase de auscultación al Hospital Universitario, quienes fueron dados de alto por no mostrar la enfermedad.

Abstract:
Rector of the Autonomous University of Chihuahua, concerned about the health of students, teachers, and administrative workers, available through the General Secretariat, to all heads of academic units, to implement preventive measures to avoid infections with the human influenza virus, known as AH1N1. Therefore, the Head of the School of Chemical Sciences ordered to provide in all campus bathrooms: water, soap, paper towels, and sanitizer gel, for the constant washing of hands, as the sanitizing of desks and environment in classrooms and laboratories. Another measure implemented was the conduct tours in groups of classes, to interview and make recommendations through a survey, to teachers and students to mention if they showed clinical symptoms related to the presence of virus in the period from 7 to May 14, 2009. As a result of daily trips were interviewed on average 24 teachers, 397 students, and 145 administrative workers, were found one teacher and 4 students who were symptomatic suspects, who were processed pass auscultation at the University Hospital, same as were discharged for not having the disease
