PRAÇA ZAGURY: JARDIM SENSORIAL COMO PROPOSTA DE PRESERVAÇÃO DE PATRIMÔNIO CULTURAL E ARQUITETÔNICO DE MACAPÁ –AP
Atualmente, as cidades na tentativa
de se tornarem mais desenvolvidas, acabam
subestimando suas origens que podem ser desde
antigos equipamentos públicos a edifícios ou
até mesmo abandonos de bens arquitetônicos e
culturais de uma cidade. Estes são substituídos
por novas construções atuais, ocasionando
defasagem dos atuais equipamentos públicos e
patrimônios (como praças e parques), ora por
impossibilidade de manutenção e/ou reforma,
ora por livre-arbítrio do poder público. Este
artigo visa analisar a situação atual da Praça
Isaac Zagury, em Macapá – AP, bem como suas
concepções no Plano Diretor H. J. Cole (1979)
até o presente momento. Através de coletas
de dados e pesquisas cientificas acerca de
praças, bem como pautado nos princípios de
dois teóricos de restauros – RIEGL E BRANDI
–, a proposta de um jardim sensorial tornou-se
pertinente e exequível, de forma que objeta a
manutenção e a preservação do patrimônio com
sua identidade histórico-cultural mantida para a
população macapaense, já que o mesmo possui
grande valor, o que garante o seu restauro,
principalmente porque na capital amapaense
são escassos os equipamentos públicos de
lazer e cultura, bem como patrimônios culturais
e arquitetônicos.

Abstract:
Nowadays, cities in an attempt to
become modern, end up despising their vestiges
and origins that can be from old public equipment
and buildings or even the abandonment of
architectural and cultural heritage of a city.
These are replaced by new constructions today,
causing a lag of current public equipment and
assets (such as squares and parks), now for the
impossibility of maintenance and / or reform,
and now for free will of the public power. This
article aims to analyze the current situation of
Isaac Zagury Square, in Macapá - AP, as well
as its conceptions in the Master Plan H. J.
Cole (1979) until the present moment. Through
data collection and scientific research about
squares, as well as based on the principles of
two restoration theorists - RIEGL AND BRANDI
- and the proposal of a sensorial gardens
became pertinent and feasible, aiming at the
maintenance and preservation of the patrimony
with its cultural and historical identity maintained
for the population of Macapa, since it has great
value, which guarantees its restoration, mainly because in the amapaense capital are
scarce the public equipment of leisure and culture, as well as cultural and architectural
patrimony
