POTENCIALIDADES DAS FIBRAS VEGETAIS REGIONAIS PARA A BIOECONOMIA AMAZÔNICA

Com a preocupação acerca do esgotamento dos recursos naturais e o avanço na conscientização ambiental surge a necessidade de buscar matérias-primas de origem natural para uso principalmente no segmento industrial que a partir do conhecimento tecnológico vislumbra-se um melhor aproveitamento e processos produtivos menos poluentes e eficazes. Mediante pesquisas e mapeamentos realizados por instituições regionais, surgem variedades de fibras vegetais amazônicas em potencial para serem utilizadas como matérias-primas para a indústria regional e nacional. Para tanto, objetivamos analisar o cenário das fibras vegetais regionais como mola propulsora da Bioeconomia amazônica. Trata-se de uma pesquisa qualitativa, exploratória e descritiva, com o uso de material secundário de origem bibliográfica e documental, com análise de dados e de conteúdo. A Bioeconomia no Brasil tem potencial de aprimoramento de toda a cadeia produtiva e o uso das fibras vegetais constitui um segmento promissor dada as peculiaridades regionais aliadas ao conhecimento científico e ao saber tradicional.

  • Abstract: With concerns about the depletion of natural resources and the increase in environmental awareness, there is a need to seek raw materials of natural origin for use mainly in the industrial segment, which, based on technological knowledge, can be used to make better use of them and to develop less polluting and efficient production processes. Through research and mapping carried out by regional institutions, varieties of Amazonian plant fibers have emerged that have the potential to be used as raw materials for regional and national industries. To this end, we aim to analyze the scenario of regional plant fibers as a driving force behind the Amazonian Bioeconomy. This is a qualitative, exploratory and descriptive study, using secondary material from bibliographic and documentary sources, with data and content analysis. The Bioeconomy in Brazil has the potential to improve the entire production chain, and the use of plant fibers constitutes a promising segment given the regional peculiarities combined with scientific knowledge and traditional wisdom.
