POTENCIAIS INTERAÇÕES MEDICAMENTOSAS, ADESÃO TERAPÊUTICA E NÍVEL DE CONHECIMENTO SOBRE A FARMACOTERAPIA NO DIABETES MELLITUS TIPO 2
O presente estudo teve como objetivo avaliar o uso de medicamentos por indivíduos com Diabetes Mellitus tipo 2 (DM2) quanto à adesão ao tratamento, nível de conhecimento e potenciais interações medicamentosas. A amostra foi composta por 50 voluntários de ambos os sexos, com idade entre 18 e 59 anos e com diagnóstico confirmado de diabetes mellitus tipo 2. A pesquisa foi desenvolvida em uma Unidade Básica de Saúde, onde foram aplicados questionários aos participantes para avaliação da adesão terapêutica e nível de conhecimento sobre a farmacoterapia. O Software Micromedex Healthcare foi utilizado para analisar as interações medicamentosas potenciais. Os resultados mostraram ausência de adesão terapêutica em 78% dos participantes e 72% apresentavam conhecimento insuficiente a cerca de sua farmacoterapia. Foram identificadas 121 interações medicamentosas potenciais, sendo 3,3% consideradas grave, 9% consideradas leves e 88% de grau moderado demonstrando assim a necessidade de avaliar cada caso a fim de otimizar a farmacoterapia. A partir dos resultados encontrados, fica evidenciada a necessidade da avaliação da adesão à farmacoterapia e do nível de conhecimento sobre os medicamentos em indivíduos com DM2, bem como, da identificação de interações medicamentosas potencias, no intuito de identificar, prevenir, resolver tais problemas antes que esses causem danos maiores saúde dos pacientes com DM2.

Abstract:
This study aimed to evaluate the use of drugs by patients with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus (T2DM) and the adherence to treatment, level of knowledge and potential drug interactions. The research was developed in a Basic Health Unit, where questionnaires were applied to participants for evaluation of therapeutic adherence and level of knowledge about pharmacotherapy. Micromedex Healthcare Software was used to analyze potential drug interactions. The results showed lack of therapeutic adherence in 78% of the participants and 72% presented insufficient knowledge about their pharmacotherapy. 121 potential drug interactions were identified, 3.3% considered serious, 9% considered mild and 88% moderate, thus demonstrating the need to evaluate each case in order to optimize pharmacotherapy. From the results found, the need to evaluate the adherence to pharmacotherapy and the level of knowledge about drugs in individuals with T2DM, as well as the identification of potency drug interactions, In order to identify, prevent, resolve such problems before they cause greater health damage to patients with T2DM.
