POTENCIAIS AGROGEOTURÍSTICOS NO MUNICÍPIO DE ITAGUAÇU - ES
O estudo tem como objetivo propor
o agrogeoturismo no município de Itaguaçu,
combinando os elementos de turismo rural, de
forma a atuar como uma atividade alternativa
para o desenvolvimento socioeconômico
no espaço rural e na valorização histórica,
cultural e patrimônio ambiental. A metodologia
adotada foi basicamente o emprego de
dados secundários para identificar aspectos
históricos e econômicos, bem como potenciais
para a implementação do agrogeoturismo no
município de Itaguaçu - ES. Como principais
conclusões tem-se que o município de
Itaguaçu possui vasto patrimônio natural e é
composto por monumentos rochosos propícios
às práticas do geoturismo. Possui, ainda,
uma diversidade ligada ao meio rural, com
atividades relacionadas ao agroturismo, como:
realização de trilhas ecológicas, pescaria,
cavalgadas, caminhadas, turismo de aventura
e hospedagem.Tais fatores representam um
potencial para o desenvolvimento turístico,
a partir do agrogeoturismo. No entanto,
por se tratar de um segmento de serviços,
exige além de qualidade, procedimentos que
envolvem trato e atendimento aos turistas,
preocupação com logística, segurança,
higiene e conforto dos turistas. Ressaltase,ainda, que a atividade do agrogeoturismo,
não pode ser tomada como a solução para as
questões do desenvolvimento rural, às quais,
por sua complexidade e diversidade, exigem
abordagens que compreendam ações que
dinamizem, promovam e valorizem os recursos
próprios de cada região. No caso do município
de Itaguaçu, necessita-se planejar a execução
de tais atividades, levando em consideração
as limitações socioespaciais, bem como a segurança das famílias residentes, frente o aumento de movimentação de pessoas
em suas propriedades.

Abstract:
The study aims to propose agro-tourism in the municipality of Itaguaçu,
combining the elements of Rural Tourism, in order to act as an alternative activity for
socioeconomic development in rural areas and in historical, cultural and environmental
heritage valuation. The methodology adopted of this research was basically the use
of secondary data to identify historical and economic aspects, as well as potential for
the implementation of agrogeo-tourism in the municipality of Itaguaçu – ES. As main
conclusions has been that the municipality of Itaguaçu has a vast Natural Patrimony,
and is composed of rocky monuments favorable to the pratice of geotourism. Has a
diversity linked to the rural environment, with activities related to agrotourism, such as:
the realization of ecological trails, fishing, horseback riding, hiking, adventure tourism,
and hosting. Such factors represents a potential for tourism development, from agrogeotourism. However, for the case a service segment, requires in addition to quality, the
procedures that involve dealing and costumer service for tourists, concern with logistics,
security, hygiene and comfort of tourists. It is noteworthy, also, that agrogeo-tourism
activity, it cannot be taken as the solution to rural development issues, to which, by
its complexity and diversity, require approaches that understand the actions that will
stimulate, promote and value the own resources of each region. In the municipality of
Itaguaçu, it’s necessary to plan the execution of such activities, taking into account the
socio-spatial limitations, as well as the safety of the resident families, compared to the
increase of movement of people in their properties.
