POSSIBILIDADES DE REFLEXÕES SOBRE FORMAÇÃO DOCENTE A PARTIR DO CENSO DE FORMAÇÃO DO PROFESSORADO
Com o intuito de diagnosticar a
formação dos professores e estabelecer ações
formativas mais incisivas e eficazes, foi elaborado
pela Secretaria Municipal de Educação de Jaú
(SP), e aplicado junto a todos os professores
pertencentes à dita rede de ensino, que estão
em exercício nas séries iniciais do ensino
fundamental, um Censo sobre formação de
professores. O número de professores dessa
Secretaria é 359, dos quais 289 responderam
os questionários do Censo. Entre elaboração
do questionário, distribuição aos coordenadores
de cada escola e consequente entrega aos
professores, devolução dos questionários aos
coordenadores e entrega dos mesmos ao Núcleo
de Pesquisas, o censo teve um período médio
de um mês. Os questionários eram compostos
de três partes com questões fechadas.
Abrangendo todos os professores, a primeira
parte se dedica à obtenção de dados acerca da
formação acadêmica do professor. Já a segunda
parte, destinada ainda a todos os professores,
buscava perscrutar os conhecimentos gerais da
formação desse professor. A última parte referese aos saberes específicos de cada função,
considerando as especificidades das áreas de
conhecimento. E, ao final, mais duas questões
a serem respondidas com palavras próprias: a
primeira buscava saber a influência da formação
do professor na concepção do mesmo sobre
finalidade da educação e a segunda sobre as
prioridades de sua formação futura. Em posse
dos questionários respondidos, após catalogar
os dados do censo, foi possível estabelecer
relações diversas de forma que, identificadas as
dificuldades formativas, pode-se agora pensar
em meios de atuação mais eficazes para suprilas.

Abstract:
In order to diagnose the formation
of teachers and establish more incisive and
effective formative actions, it was elaborated by
the Secretaria Municipal de Educação de Jaú
(SP), and applied to all teachers belonging to the
said teaching network, who are in initial series
of elementary education, a Census on teacher
training. The number of teachers in this Secretariat is 359, of which 289 answered
the Census questionnaires. Amidst preparation of the questionnaire, distribution to the
coordinators of each school and consequent delivery to the teachers, return of the
questionnaires to the coordinators and delivery of the same to the Research Center,
the census had an average length of one month. The questionnaires were composed
by three parts with closed questions. Including all teachers, the first part is dedicated to
obtaining data about the academic training of the teacher. The second part, intended for
all teachers, sought to examine the general knowledge of the teacher’s education. The
last part refers to the specific knowledge of each function, considering the specificities
of the areas of knowledge. And, in the end, two more questions to be answered with
their own words: the first sought to know the influence of the teacher’s training on their
own conception about the purpose of education and the second on the priorities of
their future academic training. In the possession of the answered questionnaires, after
cataloging the census data, it was possible to establish diverse relationships so that,
once the formative difficulties have been identified, one can now think of more effective
ways of acting to supply them.
