POSSIBILIDADES DE EMANCIPAÇÃO HUMANA: OS CURSOS DE FORMAÇÃO DE PROFESSORES NO DEPARTAMENTO DE CIÊNCIAS HUMANAS DA UFF
O presente artigo tem como objetivo
fazer uma reflexão sobre currículos dos cursos
de licenciaturas de pedagogia e educação
do campo do Departamento de Ciências
Humanas da Universidade Federal Fluminense,
no tocante às possibilidades de transformação
social e emancipação humana que a formação
pode proporcionar. A partir de categorias como
Multiculturalismo crítico (Mc LAREN, 2000) e
formação humana (FREIRE, 2005) buscamos
entender a formação inicial nos cursos de
formação de professores (pedagogia e educação
do campo) como instrumento que contribui
na desnaturalização das representações
sociais ligadas à branquidade e à hegemonia
de saberes científicos e como instrumento de
transformação da realidade social

Abstract:
The present article aims to
reflect on the curriculum of undergraduate
courses in pedagogy and rural education of
the Departamento de Ciencias Humanas of the
Universidade Federal Fluminense, regarding the
possibilities of social transformation and human
emancipation that training can provide. From
the categories of Critical Multiculturalism (Mc
LAREN, 2000) and human formation (FREIRE,
2005) we seek to understand the initial formation
in teacher training courses (pedagogy and rural
education) as an instrument that contributes
to the denaturation of social representations
related to whiteness and the hegemony of
scientific knowledge and as an instrument of
transformation of social reality.
