POSITIVISM IN BRAZIL AND IT’S INFLUENCE ON EDUCATION
Esta pesquisa buscou em primeiro momento conceituar a filosofia comteana, explicando de que maneira o pensamento positivo se rompe com a Igreja e considera a ordem e o conhecimento científico como válidos. Após contextualizar o momento de mudanças do Ocidente, buscou compreender como essa filosofia se difundiu no Brasil e impactou a educação na Primeira República, rompendo com o modelo educacional do Império e a organização do ensino, deixando como herança as bases da educação moderna presente até a atualidade.

Abstract:
This research, at the first moment, searched to conceptualize comteana's philosophy, explaining in which way the positive thing breaks with the Church and considers order and scientific knowledge to be valid. After contextualize moments of change in the West, it looked to understand how this philosophy spread in Brazil and impacted the education at First Republic, breaking with the Imperium's educational model and the teaching organization, leaving as a legacy the foundations of modern education present until today.
