POR UMA TEORIA DA LITERATURA APLICADA COMO CAMPO ESPECÍFICO DOS ESTUDOS LITERÁRIOS
As pesquisas na interface literatura/ensino apontam que, genericamente, a literatura, dentro do componente curricular língua portuguesa, é explorada na etapa escolar do ensino médio sob o viés da periodização literária. O relativismo de interpretação na ótica do letramento literário e do dialogismo não prevalece nas aulas. Na contramão desse processo, situam-se os avanços dos Estudos Literários, bem como da área da Educação. Urge, portanto, pensar em um campo específico, assim como se deu com a Linguística, no que concerne aos Estudos Literários, para minimizar a problemática. A tese para a importância dessa área é o eixo organizador dos argumentos expostos neste ensaio. A consolidação da Teoria da Literatura na prática levaria a mudanças substanciais em matrizes curriculares de cursos de licenciatura em Letras, em Pedagogia, em políticas públicas, bem como nos livros didáticos de língua portuguesa.

Abstract:
Research at the interface between literature and teaching has shown that literature, on the Portuguese Language and Literature Curriculum, is generically, explored along secondary education under the proposition of literary periodization. Relativism in interpretation under the perspective of literary literacy and dialogism does not always prevail in classes. Contrary to this process, advances in Literary Studies are situated, as well as in the area of Education. Therefore, there is an urgent need to think about a specific field, as it occurred to the Linguistics, in order to minimize the above-mentioned problem. The thesis for the importance of this area is the organizing axis of the arguments exposed in this essay. The consolidation of the Theory of Literature in practice would lead to substantial changes in the curricular matrices of undergraduate courses in Literature, in Pedagogy, in public policies, as well as in the Portuguese language textbooks.
