POLÍTICAS SURDAS: ANÁLISE DOCUMENTAL E REFLEXÕES SOBRE AS POLÍTICAS LINGUÍSTICAS VOLTADAS À EDUCAÇÃO DOS SURDOS
A Lei Brasileira de Inclusão da
Pessoa com Deficiência (Lei nº 13.146)
assegura a inclusão escolar em todos os
níveis e modalidades, o direito à tecnologia
assistiva e a oferta de educação bilíngue para
as crianças surdas, onde Libras será a primeira
língua e o português a segunda na modalidade
escrita. Esse trabalho é o resultado de uma
análise documental da legislação vinculada
aos direitos da comunidade surda desde a
lei que autorizou a criação da primeira escola
de surdos até as mais recentes legislações
referentes aos surdos. Foi efetuada uma
reflexão sobre conceitos importantes como
surdez, bilinguismo, identidade e cultura surda,
seguidas de um discurso teórico metodológico
com o intuito de discutir os reflexos dessa
legislação na educação. Levando a conclusão
de que a legislação avançou muito nos últimos
anos, mas ainda não está sendo aplicada de
forma homogênea

Abstract:
The Brazilian Law on Inclusion
of Persons with Disabilities (Law no. 13.146)
ensures the inclusion of school at all levels and
modalities, the right to assistive technology and
the offer of bilingual education for deaf children,
where Libras will be the first language and
Portuguese the second in the written modality.
This work is the result of a documentary analysis
of legislation related to the rights of the deaf
community since the law authorizing the creation
of the first school of the deaf to the most recent
deaf legislation. It was carried out a reflection
on important concepts related to themes such
as deafness, bilingualism, identity and deaf
culture, followed by a theoretical methodological
discourse with the intention of discussing
the reflexes of this legislation in education. It
follows that legislation has advanced a lot in
recent years, but it is not yet being applied in a
homogeneous way
