POLÍTICAS EDUCACIONAIS E VALORIZAÇÃO DOCENTE NO BRASIL
Este texto traz algumas reflexões conjuntas desenvolvidas durante e após a finalização de pesquisa de mestrado que teve como objetivo analisar as políticas educacionais de (des)valorização dos professores dos anos iniciais do ensino fundamental introduzidas na rede pública de ensino de Rio Branco a partir de 2005. A investigação evidenciou que, quando tomadas em seu conjunto, as políticas municipais apresentam caráter contraditório e não representam necessariamente um avanço em direção à valorização docente haja vista que a efetivação de algumas delas está atrelada aos resultados de desempenho das escolas e dos estudantes. Além da análise das políticas locais, o percurso investigativo envolveu uma incursão interessante pelo quadro normativo brasileiro e pelas políticas educacionais introduzidas no país nas últimas décadas que constituem o foco do presente texto.

Abstract:
This text presents some joint reflections developed during and after the conclusion of master's research that aimed to analyze the educational policies of (un)valorization of teachers in the early years of elementary school introduced in the public school system in Rio Branco since 2005. The investigation showed that, when taken as a whole, municipal policies have a contradictory character and do not necessarily represent an advance towards teacher appreciation, given that the implementation of some of them is linked to the performance results of schools and students. In addition to the analysis of local policies, the investigative path involved an interesting incursion into the Brazilian regulatory framework and the educational policies introduced in the country in the last decades that constitute the focus of this text.
