• Abstract: This work's main objective is to present some relevant contributions to the contemporary debate on green industrial policy (PIV) and industrial opportunities for developing countries. Such policies have already been implemented in many of these countries amid changes in the productive structure of several economic sectors in recent years, mainly linked to the energy area. Aiming to fulfill its objective, the work, of a descriptive nature, highlights a relevant part of the literature already produced on the topic and presents some considerations regarding it. As main results, the work highlights theoretical arguments in favor of PIV for different countries and a series of political particularities that must be observed for developing countries.
