POESIA PROFANA E RELIGIOSA NA ERA MEDIEVAL
Ângela Vaz Leão, hoje com 97 anos
de idade, é considerada a pesquisadora mais
importante do Brasil sobre Cantigas de Santa
Maria e umas das mais importantes sobre o
estudo da poesia medieval. Dona Ângela, como
é conhecida no mundo acadêmico, lecionava
sobre inúmeros temas da literatura, mas foi
em um curso sobre Literatura Portuguesa,
em 2014, que os rascunhos deste capítulo
foram produzidos. Este texto tem como foco o
estudo da poesia medieval, tanto das cantigas
profanas, quanto das cantigas religiosas. Como
uma homenagem à professora Ângela Vaz
Leão, espera-se que esse texto circule as salas
de aulas desde a Educação Básica, passando
pelo Ensino Superior, com a formação de
professores, até à Pós-graduação.

Abstract:
Ângela Vaz Leão, now 97 years
old, is considered the most important researcher
in Brazil on Cantigas de Santa Maria and
some of the most important on the study of
medieval poetry. Dona Ângela, as she is known
in the academia, taught on many subjects in
literature, but it was in a course on Portuguese
Literature in 2014 that the drafts of this chapter
were produced. This text focuses on the study
of medieval poetry, both profane songs and
religious songs. As a tribute to the teacher
Ângela Vaz Leão, it is expected that this text
circulate the classrooms from Basic Education,
through Higher Education, with teacher training,
to Postgraduate.
