PODER JUDICIÁRIO E MEIO AMBIENTE: O TRIBUNAL DE JUSTIÇA DE GOIÁS E SUAS PRÁTICAS AMBIENTALMENTE SUSTENTÁVEIS
Após um longo período de degradação ambiental ocasionada por ações pautadas em uma racionalidade econômica cujos reflexos foram a acumulação, o consumo, a utilização irracional dos recursos naturais e a desigualdade, urgiu-se uma mudança de postura nas sociedades acerca de suas práticas de desenvolvimento, sob pena de vir à tona um cenário de condições insustentáveis à vida humana no planeta. Tal reestruturação da maneira como o avanço socioeconômico se manifestava até o século XX ensejou diversos movimentos em âmbito internacional que culminaram em um saber ambiental, oportunizando, dessa forma, o amplo debate e a institucionalização de práticas sustentáveis no setor privado e na Administração Pública. Segundo a Constituição Federal de 1988, a coletividade e o poder público possuem o dever de proteger, preservar e recuperar o meio ambienta e primar pelo uso sustentável com vistas a garantir um meio ambiente ecologicamente equilibrado para as presentes e futuras gerações. Neste sentido, a atividade no âmbito das instituições públicas, inclusive no Poder Judiciário, foi redefinida após a consagração dos mecanismos de proteção ambiental inseridos no ordenamento, com a elaboração de diversas políticas públicas de sustentabilidade. O presente estudo busca compreender o fenômeno da preocupação e educação ambiental no âmbito do Tribunal de Justiça de Goiás, através do estudo das suas políticas públicas ambientais materializadas, em sua maioria, pelo Plano de Logística Sustentável. Para a consecução dos resultados, foram realizadas pesquisas e revisões bibliográficas, bem como pesquisas documentais e exploratórias. Os resultados através dos relatórios de desempenho apontam para um avanço na conscientização acerca da sustentabilidade, responsabilidade socioambiental e da reafirmação do meio ambiente equilibrado como direito humano fundamental no âmbito do TJ/GO, com o alcance das metas estabelecidas no seu Plano de Logística Sustentável.

Abstract:
After a long period of environmental degradation caused by actions based on an economic rationale whose consequences were the accumulation, consumption, irrational use of natural resources, and inequality, a change of attitude in societies regarding their development practices was urgently needed, under penalty of emerging a scenario of unsustainable conditions for human life on the planet. Such restructuring of how socioeconomic advancement manifested itself until the 20th century gave rise to several movements at the international level that culminated in environmental knowledge. Thus, providing the opportunity for the broad debate and institutionalization of sustainable practices in the private sector and Public Administration. According to the Federal Constitution of 1988, the collectivity and the public power have a duty to protect, preserve, recover the environment and prioritize sustainable use in order to guarantee an ecologically balanced environment for present and future generations. In this sense, the activity within the scope of public institutions, including the Judiciary, was redefined after the recognition of the environmental protection mechanisms inserted in the legal system, with the elaboration of several public policies of sustainability. The present study seeks to understand the phenomenon of environmental concern and education within the scope of the Goiás Court of Justice. For this purpose, the study of environmental public policies implemented by the Court of Justice of Goiás was carried out, mostly by the Sustainable Logistics Plan. The results were achieved through research and bibliographic reviews, as well as documentary and exploratory research. The performance reports analyzed point to an advance in awareness about sustainability, socio-environmental responsibility, and the reaffirmation of the balanced environment as a fundamental human right within the scope of the TJ / GO, with the achievement of the goals established in its Sustainable Logistics Plan.
